Dengue is a mosquito born viral infection. The infection causes fever, headache, joint pains and maculopapular rash on the skin.in a small section of patients it can potentially develop into life threatening dengue hemorrhagic fever which can cause low platelet count, bleeding tendencies and severe medical complications including death.
